1. Commit: The Daily Commitment
Your #1 target is tracking your practices. Why? Because without reflection and measurement, you’re flying blind. Logging your practices ensures you stay connected to your goals, learn from your progress, and identify areas to improve. This is the foundation of consistent action.
- Foundation: Log one practice in the Heroic app or journal.
- Elite: Track all 10 +1 daily targets and reflect on your wins.
Why It Matters: Tracking ensures accountability, builds momentum, and reinforces your heroic identity.
ENERGY: Optimize Your Vitality
2. Eat: Follow Your Nutrition Protocol
Your nutrition fuels every aspect of your performance. By aligning your meals with your personalized protocol, you’ll feel energized, focused, and ready to take on the day. Every meal is an opportunity to vote for the energized, heroic version of yourself.
- Foundation: Plan and commit to one meal aligned with your nutrition protocol.
- Elite: Adhere 100% to your personalized nutrition plan for the day.
3. Move: Move Daily
Movement isn’t just about fitness—it’s about creating energy, resilience, and momentum. Even a small burst of intentional movement can transform your mood, focus, and vitality.
- Foundation: Do 1 minute of intentional movement (e.g., 10 jumping jacks).
- Elite: Complete 30+ minutes of focused movement, which can include active recovery.
4. Sleep: Time in Bed
Your sleep isn’t just a recovery tool—it’s the foundation for everything else. By committing to a deliberate amount of time in bed, you honor your need for recovery while staying flexible when mission-driven priorities take precedence.
- Foundation: Spend 7+ hours in bed unless prioritizing a higher mission. If less, aim for 85%+ sleep efficiency and plan to recover.
- Elite: Spend 8.5–9+ hours in bed nightly for deep recovery and vitality.
5. Breathe: Breathing Meditation
Your breath connects your body and mind, anchoring you to the present moment. Incorporating intentional breathing into your meditation practice strengthens your focus, calms your mind, and builds resilience.
- Foundation: Do 1.01 minutes of intentional breathing or meditation (even just one deep breath).
- Elite: Complete a full 10.1-minute meditation with a focus on deep, restorative breathing.
6. Focus: Fiercely Control Digital Inputs
In a world flooded with distractions, fiercely controlling your digital inputs clears space for focus, creativity, connection, and mental clarity.
- Foundation: Identify and eliminate one unnecessary digital input (e.g., turning off notifications).
- Elite: Limit consumption of news, social media, and other external inputs—particularly those you cannot influence or control—to a maximum of 0–15 minutes daily.
7. Celebrate: Cultivate gratitude
Gratitude is one of the most powerful virtues, deeply correlated with flourishing. By celebrating life’s gifts—big and small—you cultivate joy, strengthen relationships, and create a deeper sense of purpose.
- Foundation: Reflect on three things you’re grateful for each day, spending at least 2 minutes acknowledging them.
- Elite: Send a quick love note or message of gratitude to someone daily, expressing genuine appreciation for their impact on your life.
8. Prosper: Go forward with hope
The word "prosperity" comes from the Latin prosperus, meaning “to go forward with hope.” Hope fuels resilience and helps you face challenges with an approach-oriented mindset. In the Heroic Elite program, we embody this with our mantra: OMMS—Obstacles Make Me Stronger.
- Foundation: Begin each day by stating, “I embrace challenges as opportunities to grow stronger.”
- Elite: Reflect daily on one challenge you faced, identifying the lesson learned and how it contributed to your growth.
WORK: Dominate What’s Important Now (WIN)
9. Work: Creative Before Reactive
Starting your day with focused, creative work builds momentum and sets the tone for success. Prioritize what’s important now, before reacting to distractions like emails or social media.
- Foundation: Spend 3 minutes on deep work before distractions.
- Elite: Dedicate 60 minutes to uninterrupted, creative deep work.
LOVE: Strengthen Your Connections
10. Love: Phone-Free Time with Loved Ones
True connection happens when we give others our full attention. By setting aside intentional, device-free time with loved ones, you deepen your relationships and create meaningful moments.
- Foundation: Spend 5 minutes of intentional, phone-free time with a loved one.
- Elite: Dedicate at least 30–60 minutes to device-free quality time.
