We’re going to hit the ol’ Heroic Field Guide for this one as well.

Sub-section entitled: Consistency: The Heroic Exponentializer That Unlocks Your Elite Potential.

Consistency is the secret to unlocking your heroic potential. It’s what transforms fleeting inspiration into lifelong transformation. Showing up—especially when you don’t feel like it—is the ultimate superpower. Why? Because that’s when it matters most.

When life gets hard, most people go off the rails. But this is when you forge what we call antifragile confidence—the kind of resilience that not only survives challenges but thrives because of them. As Nassim Taleb reminds us, we need to be the fire that wishes for the wind. The harder life blows, the brighter you burn.

By committing to your protocol when you feel your worst, you prove to yourself that no circumstance can derail you. This isn’t just about discipline—it’s about rewiring your mind to grow stronger in adversity. Every challenge becomes fuel for your growth.

There’s a science to discipline…

Research is clear: discipline and willpower out-predict IQ as a marker for success—by a factor of two. Academic performance, career success, health, and happiness are all more closely tied to your ability to stick to your commitments than to any innate talent.

The best part? Willpower is teachable.

Like a muscle, it grows stronger the more you use it. In fact, neuroscience research shows that repeatedly engaging in challenging tasks strengthens parts of your brain, like the anterior mid-cingulate cortex (aMCC), which is critical for persistence and discipline.

Step 1: Start with Identity
We begin with who you are at your best.

  • Who is the most energized, productive, and connected version of yourself?
  • What is your identity when you are fully aligned with your highest potential in Energy, Work, and Love?

We’ll help you craft clear, empowering identities in each domain:

  • Energy: Are you an Athlete? A Warrior?
  • Work: Are you a Creator? A Leader?
  • Love: Are you a Loving Partner? A Present Parent?

Step 2: Connect to Virtues
Once you’ve identified who you are, we connect that identity to virtues—the qualities you want to embody consistently.

  • For Energy, it might be Disciplined and Vibrant.
  • For Work, it might be Focused and Creative.
  • For Love, it might be Present and Kind.

Your virtues become the guiding principles for your daily actions, helping you stay anchored to what matters most.

Step 3: Define Key Behaviors
With your identity and virtues as your foundation, we define the key highest-leverage behaviors that will activate your potential.

  • Energy: What actions will fuel your vitality? (e.g., exercise, sleep, nutrition)
  • Work: What will drive your productivity? (e.g., focused work, eliminating distractions)
  • Love: What will deepen your connections? (e.g., undistracted time with loved ones)

Step 4: Link to Your WIN and WILs
We tie it all together by connecting your behaviors to:

  • What’s Important Now (WIN): What action will move the needle today?
  • What’s Important in Life (WIL): How does this align with your long-term vision for a flourishing life?

Every behavior will be a direct link to your WIN and WILs, ensuring that every action you take is purposeful and aligned—even when life gets hard. Especially when life gets hard.

Remember the math of soul force, the exponential power of consistency.

In our soul force equation, every variable matters, but consistency is the exponentializer.

It doesn’t just add to your results, it multiplies them by orders of magnitude.

We walked through the math:

(1 * 1 * 1) ^ 1 = Meh.

(101 * 101 * 101) ^ 101 = near INFINITE.
