#2032 The Analects by Confucius

Lead with Virtue, Live with Wisdom

Today’s wisdom is from The Analects by Confucius. (Powerful stuff.)

Confucius teaches us: “To lead by virtue is to lead with strength.”

The Analects are a guide to living with wisdom, practicing self-discipline, and leading by example.

Here’s how to apply Confucius’ wisdom today:

1. Lead by Example. Confucius tells us: “The superior person sets the example before teaching others.” Focus on embodying your values in your actions today.

2. Cultivate Virtue. Confucius tells us: “Virtue is the foundation of a harmonious life.” Reflect on one virtue—like wisdom, discipline, love, courage—and practice it intentionally today.

3. Learn Continuously. He tells us: “A person who asks a question is a fool for a minute. A person who never asks is a fool for life.” (Check out the Notes; there’s some more great wisdom on that subject.) Seek knowledge and growth in every interaction today.

With all that in mind...
