In Life Visioning, Michael Beckwith tells us we need to turn off the Internet and plug into the Inner-net.
We THINK the Internet has all answers. And, I suppose that’s true on one hand. It’s packed with information. Facts. Some meaningful, much trivial.
But the REAL answers to life’s most important questions?
Those will not be found via a Google search on the Internet.
Those are only discovered when you dive deep into your Inner-net. 🤓
Of course, and I’m well aware of the fact that I’m incessantly repeating myself, you can’t have both on at the same time.
You’ve gotta flip one off to access the other.
Here’s how Joseph Campbell put it before the Internet existed: “This is an absolute necessity for anybody today. You must have a room, or a certain hour or so a day, where you don’t know what was in the newspapers this morning, you don’t know who your friends are, you don’t know what you owe anybody, you don’t know what anybody owes you. This is a place where you can simply experience and bring forth what you are and what you might be. This is the place of creative incubation. At first you might find that nothing happens there. But if you have a sacred place and use it, something eventually will happen.”
Today’s +1. Find that room or a certain hour or so a day.
Flip the switch on the Internet to the OFF position.
Then, as you take a few nice, deep breaths, flip the switch to the Inner-net to the ON position.
Repeat tomorrow.
And again the day after that.
Enjoy!
